Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

JESUS TELLS US ABOUT THE SIGNS OF THE END TIMES

BIBLE PASSAGE: At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. (Daniel 12:1) MEDITATION: The disciples … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT (part-12)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-12) GOD’S GIFTS Have you ever observed the reactions of others whenever they receive a gift? You can get an idea of how much they like or dislike the gift by their expressions (words; facial and body language). If they do not like the gift very much, they will thank the … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-11)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-11) MEASURING OUR FAITH (continued)     SELFISHNESS CAN PREVENT US     FROM MAKING ADJUSTMENTS TO OUR LIVES.     Why? Because selfishness basically says,     “I want things the way I want them, period.”     As an example, I have seen people who frequently attended     church but suddenly they started attending … Continue reading

REDUCE ANXIETIES BY BEING THANKFUL THAT GOD PROVIDES WHAT WE NEED

BIBLE PASSAGE: “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-10)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-10) MEASURING OUR FAITH (continued) Okay, we have reviewed just a few areas where we should consider making adjustments as children of God. Now we need to consider some obstacles that discourage us from making essential changes so that we will be more obedient to the Lord.     AT THE TOP … Continue reading

FINDING RELIEF FOR STRESS

BIBLE PASSAGE: “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst for righteousness: for they will be filled.” (Matthew 5:6) MEDITATION: Have you ever been so hungry that you felt if you didn’t eat something quickly, you would pass out? Although you may have been around others at the time, your main focus was on getting … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-09)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-09) MEASURING OUR FAITH (continued) OUR BIBLE READING AND PRAYER LIFE. There are two primary ways for us to keep in touch with the Lord and for Him to keep in touch with us. One is reading the bible frequently. Not only do the scriptures provide us with good advice for … Continue reading

DO SCRIPTURES GIVE US ANY INDICATION THAT THE RETURN OF JESUS IS NEAR?

What are some indicators that we are living in the ‘last days’? The scriptures tell us what we can expect as the return of Jesus Christ gets nearer, but for now, we will look at just two of them. In the last days, some will “fall away” (depart from the faith), and others will “abandon … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-08)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-08) MEASURING OUR FAITH: As believers, we may read, study and meditate on God’s Word frequently, but how can we determine how much we are learning? The same thing happens in the secular world – some people spend the majority of their life reading and studying, but never realize how much … Continue reading

CAN I FIND REST AND BE REFRESHED IN THIS LIFE?

BIBLE PASSAGE: He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul (Psalm 23:2-3) MEDITATION: Do you ever have the feeling that you need to rest and be refreshed? Sometimes the world can feel like it is going 100 miles an hour and we are struggling to … Continue reading
