Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

WHAT IS THE BEST GIFT YOU HAVE EVER BEEN OFFERED?

SCRIPTURE: For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus … Continue reading

ARE YOU PREVENTING THE LORD FROM GROWING IN YOUR LIFE?

SCRIPTURE: He must increase, but I must decrease.   (John 3:30) MEDITATION: Whenever a person gives their life to the Lord, an amazing transition takes place. The things of the world lose importance; the things of God increase in importance. As this transformation continues, we begin to develop the characteristics of Jesus. We learn to … Continue reading

BIBLE PASSAGE: “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) MEDITATION: Is God enough? WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR NATION IS IN TROUBLE?

SCRIPTURE: I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior,  who wants all people to be saved and to … Continue reading

HOW DO YOU FIGHT THE BATTLE FOR CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE? NEED HELP?

SCRIPTURE: So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as … Continue reading

CAN YOU BENEFIT FROM BEING AFFLICTED AND EXPERIENCING TROUBLING TIMES?

SCRIPTURE: It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold. Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands. May those who fear you rejoice when … Continue reading

IF GOD SAVED YOU, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION?

SCRIPTURE: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”   (Matthew 25:35) MEDITATION: When Jesus said, “It is finished”, one of the things it meant was that His earthly ministry was over. While … Continue reading

WHEN YOU ARE DISTRESSED, WHAT DO YOU DO?

SCRIPTURE: In his distress he sought the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his ancestors.  And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew … Continue reading

WISDOM IS GOOD, BUT HEAVENLY WISDOM IS BETTER

SCRIPTURE: “But the wisdom that comes from Heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.”   (James 3:17) MEDITATION: Wisdom is described as the ability to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight. A person with wisdom has the capacity … Continue reading
