Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 120 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

WHAT DO YOU ANTICIPATE THE MOST?

SCRIPTURE: “But our citizenship is in heaven.  And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 3:20) MEDITATION: Have you ever been to a foreign country? If you have, and you didn’t know the native language, then you probably felt out of place. Seeing the sights was probably enjoyable, but you … Continue reading

WHEN CAN WE EXPECT JESUS TO RETURN FOR THE FINAL JUDGMENT?

BIBLE PASSAGE: But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having … Continue reading

ATTENDING WORSHIP SERVICES PLEASES GOD, BUT THERE’S MORE

SCRIPTURE: Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.   (Romans 12:1) MEDITATION: When Paul says, “in view of God’s mercy”, what does he mean? We have to look at the absence of … Continue reading

HAS THE INFLUENCE OF THE WORLD BLOWN OUT YOUR LIGHT?

SCRIPTURE: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.”   (Matthew 5:16) MEDITATION: When we were children our parents had great concerns about how we looked and how we acted outside the house. TESTIMONY FROM K. MARIE

WHERE CAN YOU FIND THE OBJECT OF YOUR WORSHIP AND PRAISE?

BIBLE PASSAGE: “He is not here, but is risen.” (Luke 24:6) MEDITATION: There are many religions throughout the world but all of them, except one, are based on worshipping a creation and not the Creator. Christianity however is based on worshipping God’s Son, Jesus Christ. None of the other religions can point to the continued … Continue reading

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO HAVE SOMEONE WHO REALLY KNOWS YOU?

BIBLE PASSAGE: Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from Me, you evildoers!’ (Matthew 7:23) MEDITATION: You may have many friends in life, but isn’t it great when you have that one friend who really knows you? They know your feelings, your likes and dislikes, when you are sad, when you … Continue reading

HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THE LORD?

SCRIPTURE: We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. (1 John 2:3-4) MEDITATION: There are many folks who say they know the Lord, but do they? … Continue reading

I ATTEND CHURCH REGULARLY SO WHY SHOULD I READ THE BIBLE?

SCRIPTURE: Look in the scroll of the Lord and read:  None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate.  For it is His mouth that has given the order, and His Spirit will gather them together.   (Isaiah 34:16) MEDITATION: In the days of Isaiah, he referred the people to the scrolls. … Continue reading
