Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT YOU NOW THAT YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN?

SCRIPTURE: As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. (Ephesians 2:1-2) MEDITATION: In Paul’s letter to … Continue reading

WHY DOES ONE PROBLEM SEEM TO BE FOLLOWED BY MORE PROBLEMS?

BIBLE PASSAGE: Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. (1 Peter 5:8-9) MEDITATION: Have you ever … Continue reading

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY OF BEING A TEACHER?

SCRIPTURE: For we must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10) MEDITATION: Have you ever thought about the fact that believers will also face a judgment of how they … Continue reading

READING GOD’S WORD SHOULD BE A DELIGHT FOR EVERY CHRISTIAN

SCRIPTURE: Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. (Philippians 2:3-4) MEDITATION: Reading the Bible should be a daily desire (not habit) of every Christian. Why? Because as believers, we are … Continue reading

ARE YOU MAKING ANY IMPORTANT RESOLUTIONS FOR THE NEW YEAR?

BIBLE PASSAGE: Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8) MEDITATION: Are you someone who makes resolutions each January that only last a few weeks? Some resolutions are valuable, but some are just for the sake of making one. Some resolutions affect only you, but some have an … Continue reading

IF YOU COULD CHOOSE ONLY ONE BOOK TO READ, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR CHOICE?

SCRIPTURE: But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming. (Romans 10:8) MEDITATION: There seems to be a growing number of people who have trouble understanding the Bible. Many times during my career others would ask … Continue reading

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN GOD’S ANSWERS TO PRAYERS ARE DELAYED

SCRIPTURE: But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come … Continue reading

GOD HAS A CONSTANT AND ENDURING LOVE THAT WANTS THE BEST FOR YOU!

SCRIPTURE: “For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17) MEDITATION: If you have children, maybe you remember when he or she was … Continue reading

THE TRUTH IS, A PARTIAL TRUTH, IS STILL AN UNTRUTH

SCRIPTURE: Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; You teach me wisdom in the inmost place. (Psalm 51:6) MEDITATION: The Bible teaches that purity of conduct includes truthfulness. God’s Word teaches that we should be truthful in our representation of ourselves. Jesus scornfully denounced the hypocrisy of the scribes and Pharisees! In the Sermon … Continue reading

HOW HAVE YOU BENEFITED FROM THE BIRTH OF JESUS?

BIBLE PASSAGE: Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. (1 John 5:1) MEDITATION: Are We Obedient Servants? Have we made a decision to follow God as ‘a way of life’? Not obeying once in a while, but rather, complying … Continue reading
