DEVOTIONALS

GOD’S PROMISES ARE GOOD!

BIBLE PASSAGE:
“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who
hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let
the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”
(Revelation 22:17)

MEDITATION:
God chose the analogy of a wedding to describe the moment when
we become one with the Lord Jesus Christ. When we become one
with God for all eternity, we’ll know Him in a more intimate way
than we know Him now. God calls it the marriage of the Lamb.

It is exciting when we think about being swept up to meet the Lord
in Glory face to face. It is fulfilling to think of that moment as the
consummation of a marriage, and the quenching of a dry thirst!

At the same time, it is sad to think of how many will miss out on this
event. While those who belong to the Lord will celebrate and sit at
the banquet table with Him, those who rejected Him, will step into
the eternity of pain and suffering of paradise lost. We can see why
God has tasked His ‘family members’ to share the good news with others.

ACTION:
Does the Second Coming of our Lord make your heart pound with
excitement? Do you long for His return and reign? Are you spending
time with Him and His people? How are you serving the Lord today?

Pray,
“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promises to those
who love You and believe in Jesus and what He did for us.
I marvel at the amount of love and forgiveness You have
for me, and Your desire that none should perish. Show me
how I can tell others the good news by using the spiritual
gift You have given me. Thank You for Your love, forgiveness,
patience, mercy, grace, promises, and salvation!”

About Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.
