LIVING BOLDLY FOR THE LORD CONFIRMS OUR FAITH IN HIM

BIBLE PASSAGE:
“The wicked flee though no one pursues,
but the righteous are as bold as a lion.”
(Proverbs 28:1)

MEDITATION:
Our world has tried to judicially remove God from everything,
but that can never be done.
Christianity cannot be kept out of any place,
unless Christians are kept out.
Christian people should take it as a challenge
to speak out boldly and confidently about Jesus Christ.
Christians are God’s special messengers of love to a lost world.

Some people may have attended church one Sunday,
but all they found was a cold, dead religion.
They didn’t find Jesus, or any evidence of His love.
Christians can be Jesus to them.
Some people may have never visited a church
and never will, unless some Christian invites them.

ACTION:
When meeting someone for the first time,
ask them if they have any needs in their life for which you can pray.
It may feel a little uncomfortable at first,
but the more often you do it, the more natural it will become.

There are many folks who are silently carrying heavy burdens,
but are never asked about them.
They might be reluctant to share their concerns with people they know,
but many times they are willing to freely share them with a stranger,
and especially when someone has promised to pray for them.

Quite possibly, they may think
that God has put you in their path as an angel in human form.
If there is an opportunity,
share with them how God has helped you in your times of need.
Keep at least one example in your mind at all times; God may put
someone in your path with the same or similar circumstances in their life.

God may not have called You to serve Him as a pastor,
missionary, or teacher, but He has called us all to
a very important responsibility - inviting others to church.

Pray,
“Heavenly Father, thank You for saving me! Help me to realize that
Your salvation is not something for me to keep to myself, but something
to be shared with others. Thank You for considering me as a contributor
to Your earthly ministry. Help me to overcome any negative thoughts
created by Satan to discourage me from telling others about You and
how You have blessed me in many ways. Thank You for considering
me worthy, even though I struggle with my own worthiness. Thank
You, Jesus, for what You did for me on the cross that made me worthy,
when I invited You to become an integral part of my life!”

About Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

    Don-
I always find it special when I put off reading an article and then it directly applies the day I get back to it. This morning I watched a video of Greg Laurie talking about our call to spread the gospel. I had a quick thought to pray that God would develop me as an Evangelist. But then a tad bit of fear raced thru me because the last time I asked to revolutionize my prayer life for other people…God did just that. LOL— see the trepidation then. God just might make me comfortable sharing the WHOLE gospel with others…sin, cross hell and all. Right now I kinda stick with the good stuff, the encouraging stuff.
