ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR A GENUINE BOOST OF STRENGTH AND ENERGY?

SCRIPTURE:
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. 
(Philippians 4:13)

MEDITATION:
How many times have you heard someone say, 
“I just don’t have any energy today”?
We can all have peaks and valleys regarding energy, 
but whenever God wants us to do something for Him, 
He will provide the energy we need.
It wouldn’t make sense for Him to give us an assignment 
and not equip us with what we need to be successful.

Sometimes, people reject doing what the Lord wants of them 
because it means they will have to leave their comfort zone.
They say they trust the Lord, but they fail to live out that trust 
when they are fearful that He will not provide them 
with what they need to be successful.
Not only will the Lord provide what we need to courageously 
leave our comfort zone, but He will also strengthen us with 
the energy and stamina we need to be successful in serving Him.

Jesus had a humble heart. 
When He abides in us, 
we will be humble and pride will never dominate our lives. 
Jesus had a loving heart.
When He dwells within us, 
we will never be identified as one with hatred and bitterness.

Jesus had a forgiving and understanding heart. 
If He lives within us, mercy will prevent us from having a revengeful 
attitude and we will have a pleasant relationship with our fellowmen. 
Jesus had an unselfish heart. 
If He lives in us, instead of thinking only about ourselves and our desires, 
we will have a desire to serve God and others. 
He provides for our needs if He truly lives within our hearts 
and we have a sincere faith and trust that not only can He provide, 
but confidence that He will provide.

ACTION:
What has God asked of you?
If you say, “Nothing”, wouldn’t you think that it’s strange 
that He would not call on you as He has other believers?

God didn’t offer you salvation 
without expecting you to contribute to His earthly ministry.
He also wouldn’t call you to serve Him without equipping you to do so.
And lastly, when He calls you to serve Him in some capacity, you will 
be blessed by stepping out on faith and trusting in Him to strengthen you.

Pray,
“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise that I can do all things 
because You will strengthen me to succeed in obeying You. I am blessed 
to know that You feel I am important enough to serve You in some capacity. 
Forgive me for ignoring Your calls in the past and for making excuses for 
not being obedient and pursuing what You ask me to do. Help me to show 
my faith and trust in You by accepting Your call for me with confidence 
that I will be successful and receive additional blessings. I look forward 
to participating in Your earthly ministry and experiencing Your equipping 
me with exactly what I need for serving You. Live in me today so that I 
will be able to radiate Your love and compassion.”
