DEVOTIONALS

IS YOUR LIFE LACKING SOMETHING? ARE YOU READY TO HAVE YOUR LIFE ENRICHED?

SCRIPTURE:
“For in Him you have been enriched in every way,
in all your speaking and in all your knowledge.”
(1 Corinthians 1:5)

MEDITATION:
If someone told you that your life could be enriched in every way,
you would be interested, right?
If they added that you would be more interesting to listen to and
you would have a greater knowledge, it would increase your interest, right?

If they said all of this is available if you attend a seminar
or a week long training session, you might be thinking, “Where do I sign up?”
However, if they told you there is a book available that you can learn from
and have for a ’ready reference’, it would be even better, right?
It would be a book that you would want to spend time reading
and cherish as a reference book.

Fortunately, there is a book available and it is called the Bible.
The world can provide all kinds of improvement manuals,
but none of them include the things that are really important.
When we leave God out of anything, we are missing out on
the One who has the greatest interest in us and loves us the most.

When you love someone,
you want to see them become the best they can be, right?
It stands to reason that God wants us to be the best that we can be,
and when we read His Word,
He unlocks the deepest recesses of our minds to enrich our lives.

No one sends an art critic to report on a football game,
or a sports writer to evaluate a painting – both are unqualified.
When we ask God to fulfill our needs, our background and abilities
are not a disqualification to receiving His blessings.
We should faithfully read the Bible, pray daily and ask God
to give us the wisdom to keep things in their proper perspective.
When we do,
God will give us the faith and wisdom we need to meet any problem.

ACTION:
Are you ready to have your life enriched?

Pray,
“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promises and for Your Word that draws
me to You. Help me to spend time reading the Bible and teach me how to
meditate and learn from the things I read. Enrich my life so that I can
become an enrichment to those I meet. I know that with Your help, I can
become closer to You and live a life that is pleasing to You and enjoying
to me.”

About Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.
