MAN’S CRITICISM VERSUS GOD’S LOVE

“I have been crucified with Christ
and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20

God loves you so much that Jesus Christ hung in agony on the cross for you.
You are precious to God.
You are the object of God’s love.
The blood of Jesus Christ was poured out on Calvary for you.
Knowing all of that, you can stand up against any criticism.
You can rise above what others say about you.
The cross sets you free.
He who died for you, now lives in you.
He gave Himself FOR you, that He might give Himself TO you.
When Jesus Christ died for you, He didn’t just take away your sins,
He took away yourself.
You have been crucified.
Who can harm a dead person?

Have you felt the sting of criticism?
No matter what others might say about you, or to you,
God is greater than everyone else, and He loves you.
We all like to be liked,
but God goes way past ‘liking’, He loves you!
Give your critic to the Lord and pray for him or her.
Then, ask God to teach you what you need to learn from the incident.
God is good at turning negatives into positives.

About Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.
