THE MASTER OF THE DEVIL

The devil may be powerful, but God is all powerful.
The kingdom does not belong to Satan ultimately.
It belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is not mastery over the devil that you need;
it is the master of the devil, the Lord Jesus Christ.
There are three cords that run through the Bible.
One is the dark, sober cord of Satan’s revolt.
The other is the crimson red cord of blood redemption through Jesus Christ.
The third is the golden cord of the second coming of Jesus Christ.

When Jesus Christ went to the cross, He said,
“Now is the prince of this world cast out” (John 12:31).

One great day the prophecy of Revelation is going to come true,
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,
which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels
were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation,
and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;
and they loved not their lives unto the death” (Revelation 12:9-12).

Its sad that some who think they will not be cast out, will be included with Satan and his angels.
God says,
“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot.
I wish you were either one or the other!
So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold,
I will spit you out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:15-16).

Glory to God Almighty for His work of redemption through His Son Jesus!

About Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.
