Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

HAVE YOU BEEN IGNORING THE LORD AND HIS WILL FOR YOU?

BIBLE PASSAGE: If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. (James 4:17) MEDITATION: Have you ever felt ignored? Everyone longs for love, acceptance, and attention, but perhaps a friend or close relative has shown little interest in you, or what you have to say. … Continue reading

HAVE YOU FOUND YOURSELF IN A RUT OF FAILURE WITH NO WAY OUT?

BIBLE PASSAGE: He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?” “No,” they answered. He said. “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. (John 21:5-6) MEDITATION: How many … Continue reading

DEPRESSION IS A DESTRUCTIVE THREAT TO OUR JOY AND HAPPINESS

BIBLE PASSAGE: If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea. (Isaiah 48:18) MEDITATION: “Peace” is described as ‘a state of calmness’. It is almost unfathomable to imagine the existence of calmness in the high energy world we live … Continue reading

WHEN YOU COME TO A FORK IN THE ROAD, WHICH PATH DO YOU CHOOSE?

BIBLE PASSAGE: In the paths of the wicked are snares and pitfalls, but those who would preserve their life stay far from them. (Proverbs 22:5) MEDITATION: Which way do you lean? BEING HUMBLE PLEASES GOD AND BENEFITS US

BIBLE PASSAGE: Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life. (Proverbs 22:4) MEDITATION: Humility is an interesting word. Some think being humble is a sign of weakness. WE ARE ALL EQUAL IN GOD’S EYES

BIBLE PASSAGE: Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all. (Proverbs 22:2) MEDITATION: We live in a world that creates separation between groups of people. HAPPY AND JOYFUL, OR FULL OF ANGER?

BIBLE PASSAGE: Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared. (Proverbs 22:24-25) MEDITATION: Some sayings are not only just adages from previous generations, but some of them are actually based on scriptures from the bible. You may have … Continue reading
