Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

IS YOUR SPIRIT IN STEP WITH GOD’S SPIRIT?

BIBLE PASSAGE: Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. (Galatians 5:25) MEDITATION: ‘Keeping in step’ means to be in agreement with someone or something. The scriptures tell us that if we are truly living by the Spirit, then we will agree with the Spirit. That means there are … Continue reading

GOD UNDERSTANDS, PROTECTS AND RESCUES HIS CHILDREN

BIBLE PASSAGE: You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely. (Psalm … Continue reading

WHERE DO I FIND HOPE WHEN ALL SEEMS HOPELESS?

PLEASING GOD IS THE HIGHEST PRIORITY FOR CHRISTIANS

BIBLE PASSAGE: Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10) MEDITATION: There are many outside influences that can affect our actions and attitudes. Other … Continue reading

RESPONDING TO DISAPPOINTMENTS

BIBLE PASSAGE: Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. (Romans 12:19) MEDITATION: It’s inevitable, isn’t it? As we live out our lives on earth, we will encounter times when others cause disappointment, hurt, or … Continue reading

FAITH IS EXPRESSED THROUGH ACTIONS AND ATTITUDES

BIBLE PASSAGE: When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death. “Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.” (John 4:47-48) MEDITATION: Missouri has been called the “Show … Continue reading

JEALOUSY – A DESTROYER OF THE FULFILLMENT OF LIVING AS A CHRISTIAN

BIBLE PASSAGE: Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. (John 4:36) MEDITATION: “Jealousy” is an emotion, and not a very good one to have. The word generally refers to the thoughts or feelings of insecurity, … Continue reading

WE CANNOT BECOME A CHRISTIAN AND NOT BECOME A NEW PERSON

BIBLE PASSAGE: Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
