Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

DO YOU HAVE A DESIRE FOR STRENGTH, SECURITY, AND PEACE?

BIBLE PASSAGE: He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth. And he will be their peace. (Micah 5:4-5) MEDITATION: Sometimes people miss … Continue reading

BECAUSE HE LOVES US, GOD CORRECTS US WHEN WE ARE OFF COURSE

BIBLE PASSAGE: Correct me, LORD, but only with justice — not in Your anger, lest You reduce me to nothing. (Jeremiah 10:24) MEDITATION: I think we could all agree than none of us relish being corrected. When we were children, correction usually meant punishment for something we did wrong. When we are adults and children … Continue reading

GRACE: GOD’S LOVE EXPRESSED TO MANKIND

BIBLE PASSAGE: Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. (John 1:16) MEDITATION: The ultimate expression of God’s love for mankind is grace. Grace is best described as giving us what we do not deserve. This is different from mercy, which means not giving us what we do … Continue reading

EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE ONE WHO LOVES US MOST

BIBLE PASSAGE: Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the LORD or fully declare his praise? (Psalm 106:2) DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: “Almighty!” is one of the names for God. He is everything we can envision that is good, right, and holy. But He is so much more! He is more than we can imagine and more … Continue reading

RENEWING THE JOY OF YOUR SALVATION!

BIBLE PASSAGE: In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16) MEDITATION: Every person needs to ask themselves,     “Do I believe the Bible is God’s Word to mankind?” The answer to that question determines our relationship with the … Continue reading

CHOOSING GOODNESS INSTEAD OF REVENGE WHEN MISTREATED

BIBLE PASSAGE: You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached—how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. … Continue reading

HOW MUCH DO OTHERS KNOW ABOUT ME AND MY FAITH?

BIBLE PASSAGE: The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah!” (that is, the Christ). (John 1:41) MEDITATION: Except for the fact that Andrew was Simon Peter’s brother and a fisherman, we know very little about this apostle. However we do know about a particular … Continue reading

FAITH IN GOD CAN TRANSFORM HOPELESSNESS INTO HOPE

BIBLE PASSAGE: Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. (Psalm 31:24) MEDITATION: Hope is described as:     “A feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen”. If you hope that something is true, or if you hope for something, then you want it to be true or … Continue reading

HOW CAN YOU SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION FOR GOD’S BLESSINGS?

BIBLE PASSAGE: Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. (Psalm 100:2) MEDITATION: I recently attended a special program at an elementary school with my grandkids to recognize the veterans of our community. There were many other veterans attending as well, some with their children and some with their grandchildren. It was … Continue reading

PRAISE THE LORD, ALL THINGS WILL BE MADE NEW!

BIBLE PASSAGE: However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” – the things God has prepared for those who love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9) MEDITATION: Have you ever paused and considered the magnitude of the blessings God has prepared for those … Continue reading
