Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-46)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? USING GOD’S BLESSINGS The way we spend our time on earth and how we use the resources God has provided, is a good reflection of where our heart is focused. It can also be a determining factor regarding our eternal destiny.     You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. … Continue reading

SATAN AND HIS TEMPTATIONS ARE RELENTLESS, AREN’T THEY?

BIBLE PASSAGE: Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter5:8) MEDITATION: We’ve all been there, haven’t we? We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He became our sacrifice for sin and was crucified for our transgressions, that … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-45)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? WEALTHY PEOPLE (continued) Whenever a wealthy person has excluded God from his life and failed to make a profession of faith, all of his wealth will disappear while he is spending eternity separated from the Lord.     Your wealth has rotted, and     moths have eaten your clothes. (James 5:2) Of … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-44)

WEALTHY PEOPLE Some people feel that God dislikes the wealthy, but this is an unfair assessment of an impartial heavenly Father. I have known some wealthy people who are not only generous to others, but are also very humble. They do what they do to obey the Lord, and not for recognition from others. I … Continue reading

WHAT WILL IT BE LIKE JUST BEFORE JESUS RETURNS?

BIBLE PASSAGE: Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. (Luke 17:26) MEDITATION: When we see what Jesus says about     “how the world will be when He returns”, we may have this question,     “What was it like in the days … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-43)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? ARROGANT PRIDE James had genuine concerns about people being arrogant and boasting.     As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes.     All such boasting is evil. (James 4:16) We have to remember that James is expressing what the Lord has impressed on him to share with us. If he … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-42)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? INCLUDING GOD IN YOUR PLANS When you hear the word ‘materialism’, what thoughts come to mind? Do you think about power and possessions? Do you think of someone with a love of ‘stuff’; someone who enjoys bragging about their possessions? A selfish person who is lacking in humility? Someone who is … Continue reading

GOD IS REAL: WE CAN FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM NOW, OR BE SEPARATED FROM HIM FOREVER

BIBLE PASSAGE: As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-41)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? BEING JUDGMENTALContinuing with ‘the error of many believers who are being judgmental’, James tells us there is only One qualified to judge.     There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one     who is able to save and destroy. But you—who     are you to judge your neighbor? (James … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT (part-40)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? HUMBLE IN GOD’S EYES The scriptures instruct believers to develop a humble attitude if we expect to experience the blessings available for those with the fruit of the Spirit. One of the benefits of humility is – the Lord will lift us up whenever we are distraught.     Humble yourselves before … Continue reading
