Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

WINNING THE BATTLE OVER THE DESIRES OF THE FLESH

BIBLE PASSAGE: So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16) MEDITATION: Many believers have had the misconception that when we surrender our lives to the Lord, we will have a life of serenity with no problems. However, we find out that a new ferocious … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-59)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? EFFECTIVE PRAYER In order to encourage believers to pray,     James gives us two examples of how prayer can be effective.     Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed     earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on     the land for three … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? RELATIONSHIPS (continued) In the verse James 5:16, we are given two more instructions for our relationships with other believers. I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-57)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? RELATIONSHIPS (continued) We are told to “offer hospitality to one another”.     Offer hospitality to one another     without grumbling. BIBLE PASSAGE: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) MEDITATION: Many Christians (even church leaders) can struggle with prayer. We may know a lot of Scriptures or have an admirable history of sharing the gospel with others, but many of … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-56)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? RELATIONSHIPS There are several scriptures that give us instructions for relationships with other believers. We are told to “love each other”.     A new command I give you: Love one another.     As I have loved you, so you must love one another.     (John 13:34)     How can we love … Continue reading

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? (part-54)

I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT? CHILDREN Since God made us, He has the option of deciding what’s best for us. We do the same thing for our children, don’t we? Although we would like to give them everything they want, we determine what is good for them and what could cause problems. God gave us children … Continue reading

GOD’S DISCIPLINE HELPS US OVERCOME OUR WEAKNESSES

BIBLE PASSAGE: Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding. (Proverbs 15:32) MEDITATION: Do you have an addiction to some sin that will just not ‘go away’? It impacts your entire life, doesn’t it? Whenever bad things happen in your life, you immediately equate it to the sin you … Continue reading
