Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.

WINNING OUR BATTLES THROUGH PRAYER

SCRIPTURE: Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7) MEDITATION: What would we do if someone began to push against us, attempting to throw us off a position that is rightfully ours? How would we respond? Most people would lean into the weight and push back. That’s … Continue reading

MARRIAGE: A BATTLEGROUND OR A BLISSFUL UNION?

SCRIPTURE: There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28) MEDITATION: We can see in Galatians that Paul affirms the equality of men and women in Christ. So what does he mean in Ephesians 5:22? Wives, submit to … Continue reading

GAINING COURAGE DURING DIFFICULT TIMES

SCRIPTURE: He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” (Mark 4:30) MEDITATION: When we face a hardship in life, is fear the first emotion we feel? It doesn’t have to be; we can respond in faith regardless of our circumstances. Remember, courage isn’t just an attitude of … Continue reading

THE LORD BLESSES US DURING GOOD AND BAD TIMES

A place where you are experiencing God’s blessing and … Continue reading

WHAT IS THE ATTRACTION OF THE CROSS?

BIBLE PASSAGE: He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,” (Luke 24:46) MEDITATION: Crucifixion is a method of capital punishment where the victim is tied or nailed to a large wooden beam and left to hang for several days, until they eventually … Continue reading

PRIDE VERSUS COMPASSION

SCRIPTURE: May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. (Galatians 6:14) MEDITATION: Have you ever been around someone who has the best and biggest of everything? Not only do they have them on display, but they … Continue reading

INTERCEDING FOR OTHERS

SCRIPTURE: For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. THE BATTLE FOR YOUR SOUL IS REAL!

(1 Peter 2:11) MEDITATION: Have you ever noticed that whenever you are around a bad odor for a while, your nose adjusts and it no longer smells as bad? We are living in evil … Continue reading

WHO OR WHAT IS IN CONTROL OF MY LIFE?

SCRIPTURE: Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-16) MEDITATION: We can sit around wishing that we were godly for the next ten years, but it won’t happen! We have to discipline ourselves for the purpose of godliness. … Continue reading

WHAT CAN I BELIEVE INTO EXISTENCE?

SCRIPTURE: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) MEDITATION: It is impossible to believe anything into existence. The Gospel did not come into being because men believed it. The tomb was not emptied of … Continue reading
