Some questions to think about:
If you have not received salvation from God:
– Have you been wondering all your life what God is all about?
– Do you wonder why others have chosen
to worship Him and surrender their lives to Him?
– If the bible is truth,
what will happen to you when you leave this world?
– If you have not received salvation from the Lord, should
you invest some time to see if you can learn more about God?
If you have received salvation from God:
– If you feel like you have not fully ‘connected’ with Him,
wouldn’t you like to know what can bring you to a closer
fellowship with Him?
– If you have drifted from God, how can your drifting be
stopped, turned around, and get you headed back toward Him?
These are some questions that many of us may have asked ourselves.
Since the bible tells us that God IS LOVE then it’s reasonable to believe
that if we can understand more about LOVE, then we could know God
better, wouldn’t you agree?
Several months ago, I felt that God was speaking to me and telling me
to distribute a series of devotionals on LOVE. He has been providing the
content and scriptures for devotionals that I have been distributing since
2013, and I am confident that He has provided everything for this series
of 64 devotionals as well (He might add some more along the way).
Under His guidance and provision, I have completed assembling ‘His’
devotionals, and am ready to start making them available for everyone
else. I have experienced the benefits of these devotionals in my own life
and am confident they can make a difference in the lives of many others.
Sixty-four devotionals may seem like a lot, but the majority of them can
be read in five minutes, or less. They are all FREE, and I am not asking
for donations, or personal information from anyone. My efforts are in
response to what I believe the Lord has asked me to do, so I would never
look to make a profit from doing something for Him.
To be honest, I have profited already in non-monetary ways while getting
‘His’ devotionals prepared for distribution. Like everything from God, this
has been a life-changing experience for me, and hopefully it will have the
same impact on you, if you choose to read them.
At this point, I am not sure how often He will be directing
me to distribute them, but we should consider these questions:
– If I want to receive salvation from God, or if I have already
received His salvation but want to grow closer to Him, is it
worth investing 5-20 minutes a week for several weeks to
learn more about love, since the bible says GOD IS LOVE?
(after all, His Son, Jesus spent six agonizing hours on the
cross for us in obedience to God and because He loves us).
– How much desire do I have to grow closer to the One who
will decide where I will spend eternity?
Of course, Satan will make every attempt to dissuade us from reading
these devotionals from God. He will also work to discourage us from
continuing to read them. That’s what he does, doesn’t he? Why does
he do that? Because he hates God and he regrets what has happened
to him after he tried to create a rebellion against God. And now, he
wants everyone else to rebel against the God who loves us. It’s a reality
of the old adage, “Misery loves company” being played out in our world
today, but with horrible and eternal consequences when we make the
wrong choice.
I have several large email distribution lists that will receive these
devotionals (they have been receiving other devotionals for years).
If you are not included in these groups, you can find the devotionals
on Facebook and LinkedIn. You can also go to my Blog (where all the
devotionals have been stored for years) and enter your preferred email
so you will be notified each time a new devotional is added.
If your life ‘feels like’ you are in a boring rut, and you want to find
something exciting that never gets old to be infused into your life,
please consider joining others in reading this series of devotionals
on LOVE. Since they are given to us from God, learning more about
LOVE will help us understand more about God, which can result in
giving us a new focus, and a new purpose for living.
We never know when Jesus will return to pass judgment on where
we will spend eternity, but many of the signs we are given in the
scriptures about His return, are clearly being played out in front
of us. We need to be diligent now about deciding what we believe,
and where we want to spend eternity.
Every day brings us closer to our final judgment. God has promised
to love us and be with us, and He has given us the freedom to choose,
or reject Him. In my opinion, this devotional series can help us to
better understand the reality of God, and make the right choice.
Unless God gives me new directions, the first devotional in
this series will be available on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
