As we see the prophecies in scripture being ‘played out’ right
before our eyes, it should inspire us to grow even closer to the Lord.
With that thought in mind, I will be distributing
a weekly series of brief devotionals (9 posts) on “Seeking The Lord”
(in addition to the current weekly series on “I’m Saved, Now What?”).
Look for them on my Facebook page, LinkedIn,
and email (for those on my distribution lists).
They will also be available on my Blog:
utvolwoody.wordpress.com
(along with close to 2000 other brief devotionals
on various topics – use the Search included to find
devotionals for specific topics which interest you)
If the viewing of this series is widespread,
the Lord has given me some ideas for two
additional series on (Salvation & Serving).
Just to be clear, I consider these devotionals
(and all others I have published) to be – God’s devotionals.
He gives them to me either directly
(providing topics, content and scriptures),
or indirectly
(by blessing me with the desire and ability to create them).
In either case, they are from God and not me.
Although words of encouragement inspire me to keep distributing
what God provides, He ultimately deserves all the praise and glory.
Being honest:
The devotionals and my blog are now being viewed in all 50 states
and over 70 foreign countries. As you can imagine, Satan tries to
plant the idea in my head that they are ‘my’ devotionals (but they
are not, they are God’s). I’m sure anyone who is serving the Lord
can relate to these attempts by Satan.
There are a lot of scriptures about ”Seeking the Lord”
