“I’M SAVED, NOW WHAT?”
It’s a question that many Christians ask themselves (or others).
In 2022, I will be offering a weekly series on
“I’m Saved, Now What” that will hopefully help us better
understand the changes we can expect when God saves us.
Please join us in exploring this topic…
– if you feel that nothing has really changed since you were saved.
– if you want to change but are not sure
where to start, and what areas to focus on.
– if you want to grow closer to God so you can be used by Him.
– if you want to ‘feel’ that God is working in your life.
– if you want to discover the
spiritual gift God has given specifically to you.
– if you want to experience
the promised Holy Spirit working in your life.
– if you want to be better prepared
to be a witness to others of God’s goodness.
– if you want to understand how your changes could create an
interest in others to find out what being a Christian really means.
– if you want to discover how you can serve the Lord
through having a positive impact on others.
– if you are curious about what God expects
of those who have received His salvation.
– if you are not a Christian, but want to know more about it.
Pray about it and if you choose to join us on this journey,
look for opportunities to tell others about it as well
(God may be choosing each one of us to reach others).
Why do I feel motivated by the Lord to provide this series?
Several years ago, with the Lord’s help and guidance
I wrote a book titled, “I’m Saved, Now What?”
but never felt led by Him to get it published.
As you might imagine, I have been perplexed over the years as
to why He would have me write a book for no apparent reason.
However, I believe God has now given me the task of sharing
the content of that book in ‘bite size pieces’ for our benefit.
I will be posting each session on Facebook and LinkedIn
(and will be sending it to several email group distributions).
In addition, each one will be the lesson content for the
weekly bible class God called me to teach over 40 years ago,
and lastly, they will be posted to my blog:
utvolwoody.wordpress.com
My blog currently contains about 2000 brief devotionals
(and I continue to add new ones weekly as the Lord provides).
Each devotional can be read in five minutes or less;
they are currently being viewed in all 50 states
and over 70 foreign countries.
It includes a “Search” for finding
devotionals on a specific scripture, or topic.
The number of views is not important to me,
but knowing that God is using His devotionals
to impact lives (including mine) is very important to me.
The feedback I have received over the years confirms that
lives are being changed as people grow closer to the Lord.
We can all agree that 2021 was a challenging year in many
ways, however the Lord continued using the devotionals He
sent me to distribute:
the total views for the year exceeded the
total for the years 2018-2020 added together!
