For all who participated in the challenge (dedicating 6 minutes
a day to the Lord for 20 consecutive days), you may feel the
same way I do…..the 20 days ended too quickly.
If you participated in the challenge, my hope is that the Lord spoke
to you through His devotionals in a way that had a positive impact
on your life and your relationship with Him. He blesses us in so
many ways and hopefully some of those blessings were discovered
through the devotionals in the challenge.
On the 21st day, I truly realized how much I missed creating
and distributing what the Lord has given me to share.
Not only did I feel I was connecting with the Lord each day,
but I was also connecting with many others who committed
to taking the challenge.
All of the totals are not in yet, but at this point,
there have been over 9,500 views of the devotionals.
Participants in the challenge were from 21 countries
including:
Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador,
France, India, Ireland, Mexico, Nigeria, Philippines, Portugal,
Saudia Arabia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand,
Trinidad &Tobago, United Kingdom, United States.
All of the feedback I have received has been very positive
and several have asked me to consider creating another challenge.
With that in mind, please go to the LEAVE A REPLY section
at the bottom of this post and let me know your thoughts about
the challenge and if you would be interested in another one.
Thank you.
Perhaps you thought about participating in the challenge that just ended
but for some reason you missed out. If so, you are also invited to leave
comments and express any interest in participating in a new challenge.
Participation requires only 6 minutes per day to read brief devotionals
on a specific topic for 20 consecutive days. It is an opportunity for us
to prove to the Lord that we have a desire to connect with Him on a
daily basis. It is also a chance for us to prove to ourselves that we can
make a commitment to the Lord and follow through on it for 20 days.
If there isn’t sufficient interest in creating a new challenge, then I will
continue creating and distributing devotionals as I have since May, 2013.
If you are looking for brief devotionals that focus on daily living as a
believer in Christ, then check out my blog: utvolwoody.wordpress.com
It includes a Search field for finding devotionals on related to a specific
topic or scripture. Currently it contains over 1500 devotionals (including
the ones for the 20-day challenge) and I continue to add new ones weekly.
If you like what you see, there is a section where you can enter your
email address and receive notification each time a new devotional
is added. Email addresses are strictly for notification and will not be
shared with anyone else.
