AMERICA IN CRISIS

I am not an alarmist or a doomsdayer, but because I believe in God
and the Trinity, could it be that God is removing, or has removed,
His protective hand from America and we are witnessing the results?

In only a few months it seems that everything
we worship instead of Him has been taken away.

It’s almost as if God said,
“You want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums.
You want to worship musicians, I will shut down Civic Centers.
You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters.
You want to worship money, I will shut down the economy
and collapse the stock market.
You don’t want to go to church and worship Me,
I will make it where you can’t go to church”.

As a country, we have been hit with COVID-19,
and now we are witnessing lawlessness across our land,
while people in leadership positions wring their hands
trying to figure out what to do.

The crookedness of people in Congress has finally been exposed,
and it’s worse than anyone could have imagined;
we have discovered that some only want to increase their wealth
and could care less about the people who elected them
(and continue to re-elect them which seems insane).

And there is more we are witnessing,
but too much to list them all for now.

Is God unfairly removing His protective hand
from the most prosperous and blessed nation in the world?

For too long America has been removing
anything related to God from our society.

For too long America has passed laws
which legalize the destruction of His creations.

For too long America has replaced worship and praise
with other things they have deemed more important.

For too long even Christians in America have rationalized
and justified reasons to ignore God’s commands
to, “assemble together”, and to, “bring His tithes to the altar”.

For too long some parents have ignored how scriptures
tell us to “raise your children in the way they should go”.

For too long many parents have failed to take their
children to church, because they don’t go themselves.

For too long people have drifted away from the church
which has resulted in an alarming number of them closing down.

For too long many people have modified God’s commands
to fit their own lifestyles and desires.

For too long America’s actions have made the statement,
“God, we don’t want you here”.

No, God is not being unfair.
In fact He is giving America what it has asked for,
and now America is experiencing what happens
when God removes His protective hand from our country.

God created us and He doesn’t want us to suffer from calamities,
but when we ask Him to leave us alone,
eventually He will do just what we’ve asked.

However God’s love and forgiveness is limitless,
and He has said that when we humble ourselves and pray,
He will heal our land.

It’s time for America to seek God’s forgiveness
and extend an open-arms invitation to
welcome Him back into our nation, and to commit to
obeying His commands and living as He wants us to live.

Assuming there is a God (I believe there is), there will be a time
when each individual will experience eternal results
for their choices to either embrace, or exclude God.

Let’s all be contributors to God blessing America again.
