BIBLE PASSAGE:
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to them, “no one who has left home or wife
or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom
of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age,
and in the age to come eternal life.”
(Luke 18:29-30)
MEDITATION:
God has given every individual special selected abilities,
and He wants us to use those abilities to invest them in Him.
Have you ever thought about, how we are being disobedient
whenever we are less than what God called us to be.
Sure, we may not be a famous scientist, a great athlete,
a well-known evangelist, etc. but that’s not what is important.
What is important, is that we do what God has equipped us to do.
If we fail to do that, then we have forfeited the blessings He has for us.
There are three people inside us:
(1) Who we are right now.
(2) Who we could be for evil (if we allow the devil to control us).
(3) Who we could be for God (if we gave ourselves to Him).
ACTION:
God has made each person unique and we all have the potential to do good things.
He did that because He loves us that much, and wants us to know we are special.
We can do the best we can, but it may not be enough in the eyes of the world.
However, when we utilize God’s gifts to fulfill His plans for us,
we will succeed, and we will receive His blessings and encouragement.
Pray,
“Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me, believing in me,
encouraging me, and considering me special, regardless of how
I am viewed by others. Thank You for the unique gifts You have
given me. I am letting go of the things of the world with both
hands and I am giving all of me to You. Father, I pray that You
will give me wisdom and guide me in bringing You glory, and
pointing others to Jesus! Help me to use my mustard seed of
faith to do mighty things for You!”

Don– Your prayer is exactly where I am tonight. How many many times this happens that I read a post the day I needed (often much later than it was posted) and it is the exact confirmation I needed. God is always calling us to glorify him, but tonight he made that clearer to me in what I should be doing for him. I have submitted to his request and ask for the power t fulfill it for Him.
