SCRIPTURE:
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered.
(Mark 11:22)
MEDITATION:
“Faith” is defined as “complete trust or confidence in someone or something.”
Is this the definition of your own faith in God?
This means that whenever we have issues of any kind, we go to God for help.
We go to Him because we have complete trust and confidence that He can help us.
There are many who are trained in counseling who can be beneficial in helping
us through a crisis, but God is the only One with the best solutions.
Even if we plan to go to a counselor, we should go to God first
and seek His guidance in helping us find the right counselor.
If we are looking for a new job,
we should go to God and ask Him to guide us in our search, and in our decision.
If we are ill,
we need to go to God and ask for guidance in finding the right doctor.
If we plan to get married, we need to ask God
if the other person is right for us, and if we are right for them.
If we need help with our finances,
we need to ask God to help us find someone who can help us the most.
If we have a wayward child,
we need God’s help in finding the right course of action.
We need to seek God first in all of our situations.
We need faith in God, the same as we need food, air and water.
We either have complete trust and confidence in Him, or we do not.
If our faith begins to falter,
we need to remember how God has helped us in the past.
ACTION:
Do you have complete trust and confidence in God?
Is He the one you go to first,
when you need wisdom, guidance, or any other kind of help?
Never, ever, forget that God loves you and wants what is best for you.
Don’t allow Satan to put faithless thoughts in your mind that causes
you to try to solve problems or make decisions in your own strength,
or by redirecting your trust and confidence to those in the world.
Pray,
“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your availability. Thank You for letting
me know that I can come to You at all times. Forgive me for the times I
have failed to come to You and have deferred to my own strength and
control. Father, You are omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent! There
is no individual who can compare to You. Help me to change my ‘modus
operandi’ so that whatever comes my way, I will go to You first with
complete trust and confidence that You will give me what I need to make
the right decisions."

I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.
