IS THERE A GOOD EXCUSE FOR NOT BELIEVING IN THE EXISTENCE OF GOD?

SCRIPTURE:
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, his 
eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being 
understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.  
(Romans 1:20)

MEDITATION:
Have you ever thought about what it will be like when you meet Jesus face to face?
What do you think you might want to say to Him?
Do you think you would even be able to speak?
How would you respond if He mentioned how you failed to get to know Him?

What if He exposed you for never believing in Him and His Father?
What excuses would you give?
According to the scriptures, we have NO excuse!
Evidences of His existence are all around us every day of our lives.

If you try to rationalize God, you will fail. 
There are mysteries about God that we will never understand in this life. 
How can we, as small and finite beings with limited time and space, 
ever understand an infinite God! 

Who can explain why objects are always attracted to the center of the earth? 
Who can even come close to explaining the law of gravity? 
Even the one who is credited 
with discovering gravity (Newton) could not explain it. 
Who can explain the miracle of reproduction? 
Scientists can explain basically what happens, but cannot explain the ‘why’.
Why is the sperm attracted to the egg?

Many of these ‘unexplainables’ 
can only be explained in one way – God is in control.
All of the mysteries of life are proof of the existence of God.
God cannot be contained in a scientific lab 
or confined to some algebraic formula.
Think about it: If God could be fully proven by the human mind, 
then He would no longer be greater than the mind that proves Him.

ACTION:
Do you know God?
Do you have a relationship with Him?
Do you communicate with Him often?
Do you use the spiritual gifts He has given you to serve Him?

Pray,
“Heavenly Father, I see evidences of Your existence all around me.
Even though I cannot comprehend the magnitude of Your greatness, 
I realize that You exist and You are in control. Since I believe in Your 
existence, I want to build and enjoy a daily fellowship with You.
Help me to feel Your presence in the quietness of my heart. I know
that when You do, I will experience a joy and peace that I have never 
known. Thank You for creating me, loving me, blessing me and 
wanting to fellowship with me. Show me how to encourage others 
to believe in You and to know You.”
