PROTECT YOUR MINDS / HELP WITH DECISIONS

“I am the door: whoever enters through me will be saved.”
John 10:9

We need to live our lives with the knowledge of the presence of the Lord.
Our environment is fast paced
and consequently we are tempted to rush to decisions.
Many doors will open for you.
Many doors will close.
What will you do?
Remember that through it all, Jesus Christ will be behind
each and every door as you seek Him with all your heart.
Satan will knock at your heart’s door…often
We just cannot battle him in our own strength.
Many ask the Holy Spirit to ‘help’ them fight the devil,
but as weak as we are, I’m not sure we should even involve ourselves.
We need to ask the Holy Spirit to ‘fight’ the battle for us.
Think of the phrase, “I am the door” as the Holy Spirit
blocking the entrance of our minds, to prevent temptations
from even entering, let alone taking up residence.
The Lord is there with us to take care of us.
He has made this promise to His children,
“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
(Hebrews 13:5)

When the door of opportunity knocks for you,
take a moment to reflect on His goodness,
His mercy, His love, and His faithfulness.
Trust Him to give you what you need to make the right decision.

About Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.
