DEVOTIONALS

THE MESSAGE OF THE BIBLE

“But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:5

The thing I love about the Old Testament
is the same thing I love about the New Testament.
Both the Old Testament and the New Testament
are the inspired Word of God.
Don’t think that the Old Testament
has a different message than the New Testament.
All of the Bible is about Jesus.
If you read the Bible, you will find Jesus.
If somebody asks if you have read the four gospels,
you can answer with, “I’ve read all sixty-six”
From Genesis to Revelation, it has the same villain – Satan.
It has the same hero – Jesus.
It has the same purpose – salvation in no other name but Jesus.

Read Isaiah 53.
What are the prophecies that were fulfilled in the life of Christ?

About Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.
