DINE WITH THE LORD

“Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine.
None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?”
They knew it was the Lord.”
John 21:12

Is Satan whispering that God is not for you in your daily battles?
Is he whispering lies that God is going to erase your name from
the book of life for something you’ve done, yet repented over?
Satan never had it so wrong!
And Jesus never had it so right!
Salvation in Christ is not a funeral but a feast!
The Bible is a continual feast from Genesis to Revelation.
Our Shepherd, the Lord Jesus, has given many examples
of His open invitation to be replenished and restored,
to remember, and to rejoice at His table.

When is the last time you have participated in the Lord’s Supper?
Why?  Are you being disobedient about worshipping with others in God’s house?

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging
one another —and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
(Hebrews 10:24-25)

Think about this feast when you participate in the Lord’s Supper.
Remember, before you participate, you need to confess your sins.
“Everyone ought to examine themselves
before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup.
For those who eat and drink without discerning the body
of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.
That is why many among you are weak and sick,
and a number of you have fallen asleep.”
1 Corinthians 11:28-30

About Don Woodruff

Retired from FedEx and dedicated to sharing God's Word with others. I send out devotionals weekly and have written two books: "The Crucifixion Catalyst / Unspoken Messages From God To Believers" (published and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble **out of print**) and "I'm Saved Now What?" (unpublished). I am currently working on a third one that will be a Daily Devotional. The devotionals on my Blog have been viewed by people in all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. I sincerely believe the Lord provides the content for the devotionals and in 2013 He “tasked” me with distributing them and storing them on my Blog. They are free and I will not solicit any donations. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave comments if one of them speaks to you personally, or if you have a suggestion.
